1. Brief History of the Public Authority: The long-felt need for higher Education to the poor bonafied ST/SC students in the area. But there was not a single college in a area radius of about 35 to 40 kms to cope up with the own-rush of students for admission, who have no other alternative but to go to other places for the sake of higher Education. For this purpose the idea for starting a college in this place was given a definite shape by the founder vice-president of governing body Sri Purusottam Sahu , social worker and president of Pragatisila Yobak Sangha, Kansar and founder secretary Keshab Chandra Dharua , Sarpanch in the year 1992 our aim is to giving higher Education to the poor students in a minimum fees for bringing them in the mainstream of the nation building. The Institution pledges gratitude to late Bhajaman Patta (Retd D.S.P), Bipin Bihari Nayak, Social worker , Manoranjan pradhan Lecturer and Late Kusha Chandra Patra Retd Reader Govt. Womens' College, Sambalpur for their valuable suggestions for strengthening the College.
