1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
Government (SSD) Higher Secondary School, Dhodipani, Nabarangpur is established during 2006 and affiliated by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar vide affiliation No. 3472 Dated 15-04-2008. This institution is established as Primary School (Sevashram) w.e.f from 1950 as M.E. school 1988 and High school 1989. High school is recognized by Board of Secondary Education Odisha vide recognition No. 1148 Dated 16-02-1995 of Deputy Secretary Board of Secondary Education (Odisha), Zonal Office at Berhampur. Government (SSD) Higher Secondary School, Dhodipani, Nabarangpur is established for the academic upliftment of SC, ST & OBC students of this rural belt of Nabarangpur district. The Higher Secondary School Section has 8 teaching staff & 5 nos. of nonteaching staff with +2 Science and Commerce classes. The Higher Secondary School is a residential Institution. As per the rule of ST & SC Development Department Odisha, 50%, 40%, and 10% seats are reserved for ST, SC & general category respectively. Also the college has well equipped library and laboratory facilities. A special free coaching also provided to the ST & SC students for engineering.
