1. Brief History of the Organization:
The History of Akhandalamani College, Palasahi is a main function of divine blessing of Lord Akhandalimani and an academic expression of popular will. The college was established in the year 1982 by the indomitable will power of the poor and down trodden people of this locality headed by Ex-MLA Hrudananda Mallick and Bansidhar Khatua founder Secretary. It is located in Dhamnagar Block of Bhadrak district & about 27 K.M. Away from the district headquarter. Initially it extents teaching facilities in +2 Arts, sci & Commerce. It has got Govt. concurrence and CHSE(O) affiliation for +2 Arts & +2 Commerce streams vide Govt. letter No. 53891/25-11-87 & CHSE(O) letter No. 7081/25-05-88, respectively from the academic session 1987-88. the college has got Govt. concurrence & CHSE (O) affiliation for +2 Science stream vide Govt letter No. 33478/ 23.07.90 & CHSE(O) letter No. 5710/1-05-92 from the academic Session 1990-91. Subsequently the college has also Govt got Govt. concurrence to open +3 Degree Course both in Arts and Commerce stream vide Govt. letter No. 40687/ 30.08-91 for the academic session 1990-91 & Utkal University affiliation vide Letter No.3959/ 28-03-1992 for +3 Arts & Govt letter No. 6776(3)/ 11.02.94 for +3 Commerce. Under one shed, one Campus building structure and infrastructure all the staff members (both teaching & non-teaching) here working jointly in the purpose of teaching, examination, valuation till 25-07-2003. but now the college imparts teaching facilities in +2 Arts, Sci & Commerce. The College also imparts +2 vocational teaching from the session 2003-2004. The college come into G.I.A fold w.e.f 01-06-1994 vide Govt. notification No. 15451 dt. 15.03.97. as it is a rural based college, the main objective of the poor down trodden students & to achieve a berth in the national & state main stream.
