1. Brief History of the Public Authority: Established in 1991 as Balikuda women's college, Balikuda situated at Balikuda in the District of Jagatsinghpur and strives hard for excellence in its way to fulfil its goal and mission since then. 2. Aim & Objectives of the Public Authority: Basically, it aims to impart higher education to the poor and backward girls of this locality under Balikuda Block. 3. Strength of the Public Authority: From a small student strength of 128 in 1991 the college has made rapid strides over the periods of tone, catering to the needs of about 128 students. It provides teaching facility in 08 subjects at under +2 level (Arts). Now it is imparting education to 192 students since 1998. 4. Main Activities/ Functions of the Public Authority: This college has also been in defined as a centre to upgrade the next of SC/ST/OBC students. The college has been functioning as a 40% Block grant Aided College and managed and controlled by statutory & non statutory bodies as prescribed by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha. Basing on its academic reputation, Co-curriculum activities quality of Institutional Management and responsiveness of Administrative structure. This institution is fully Committed to its aims and goal and taking good care of students. N.S.S wing and Red-cross wing is functioning properly. Students are taking part in inter college cultural and sports meet.
