1. Aim & Objectives of the Organization:

     Birupa College, Indupur which is christened after the name of the holiest river "The Birupa located at Indupur in the District of Kendrapara. The Keynote of the opening such an institution was open up the doors of Higher Education in this region with a view to providing the access to each for the rural use, to whom it was dream.

a) To inculcate High Grade Education to men and women in and round the state.
b) To culminate in students the spirit of Human Values with a sound moral conduct in their thoughts and actions.
c) To instill in the minds of the students a sense of Quality, Social Justice, Secularism, National integration and encourage them to be the catalytic personality. 

2. History & Background of Its Establishment:

     The College was established on 27th June 1982 by sincere efforts of the eminent personalities and general public. It is located 12 KMs away from District Head Quarters towards north west corner on the banks of Pattamundai Cannel.

3. Functions & Duties:

     This institution's forty four eminent faculties and members have been striving hard to bring about all round development. Being to CHSE, Odisha and Utkal University, the college at present provides education Courses of Arts, Science and Commerce in +2 and +3 levels with provision of Honours Programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, History, Pol. science, Education English and Commerce. The key to success of our students is:-

a) Healthy and congenial atmosphere of the college.
b) Good relationship between the teacher and the taught.
c) The noble teaching concept of share and care.
d) Exposure of students to books.
e) Up-to-date athletic guidance.

4. Working Hours Both for Office & Public:

The Normal Working Hours of the Colleges is 10 A.M to 4 P.M.
