1. About the Organization:
To meet the growing demands for higher education in the coastal area, dominated mostly by SC Community, the villages of Avana establish a college in the year 1978. The college was accorded Govt. concurrence and affiliation in the year 1979-1980 and 1980-1981. The college is having +2 Arts & +2 Science (at +2 stream) & Arts at Degree level. The College has been accorded 2 (F) and 12 (B) by the U.G.C. And is eligible to receive U.G.C. Grant. At present the college is both academically & financially able to meet any need of the hour.

Belavoomi Mahavidyalaya Avana is a Non-Govt. Odisha organization imparting Multi-faculty general education to boys and girls at +2 and Degree level.
