1. Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its formation:
Banamalipur Junior College owes its inception to the year 1991. The College recognized by Govt.of Odisha and affiliated to CHSE, Odisha in 1992-93 has an eventful history in the field of teaching. The institution , situated on the verge of Banamalipur, under Balipatna block of Khordha district is always carefully indulged in keeping the heritage value dive and vibrant. The salubrious surrounding of the historic Prachivalley adds a tinage to the whole setting, The College is also flanked to the west with the river Kushavadra that brings a typical aesthetic dimension to the ambience of the College.
With the primary aim of imparting quality education, a rich academic resource has been guiding and moulding the young minds,The College imparts only +2 education to the students of both Arts and Science stream having a sanctioned strength of 128 and 64 respectively. An ardent strength of 3& 4 students is constantly motivated by various activities which are conducted all around the year . Banamalipur Junior College is in a process of upgrading its existing infra-structure. The College has seen recent improvements which include the renovation of class-rooms and library. In pursuance of excellence in the field of scientific study the students are provided with a well-equipped Science laboratory supervised by a rich intellectual capital
In fine, Banamalipur Junior College, with a high standard of integrity, has always emphasized on the moral and ethical grooming of its students. To imbibe the value of social sensitivity and courage is the motto of the College.
