1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
The Institution was established in 1992 in the name of Maa Maheswari College. In the honour of the deity 'Maheswari' of the area. The local educated and Spirited youngmen, to provide higher education to under privileged tribal Young people, their best to fulfill its goal.
2. Aim and Objective of the Public Authority:
The institution aims at educating SC,ST,Minority and Down trodden sections of the society and up lifting them towards a constructive Life.
3. Strength of the institution:
The College started with by sanctioned strength in 1992 with four optional Subjects. In 1995-96 an extension was made on the seats and optional subjects. The seats increased to 128 and optional subjects to six. Presently the college Imparts education to 192 students in each your at +2 level.
4. Main Activities/ Functions of the public Authority:
This college is a centre of mental and physical development of SC/ST/Minority /SEBC/under privileged students through various function activities all round Development of the students is the motto of this institution. The institution also wishes to influence the locality and reforms the society. The college Not only insists on academic career but so insists on Co-curricular activities. It has two units of NSS for male & female students, one unit of YRC.
