Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. Aim & Objectives of the Organization:
Derabish Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Chhata, Dist.- Kendrapara is situated in front of the Derabish C.H.C. to inculcate the spirit of higher education and noble dreams among the women of this society. Its aim and objectives are:
i) To impart high grade education to women in and found the state.ii) To insist in the minds of students the spirit of morality in their thoughts and actions. A sense of equality, social justice, national integration and encourage them to form and ideal society.
2. History & Background of its Establishment:
The college was established on the year 1991 by the local benevolent. It is located 1 km away from Chhata Chhak on N.H.5 (A) and 70 kms away from Cutttack, Via Chandikhol and 63 kms away from Cuttack, via- Salipur/ Duhuria. And 57 kms from Cuttack, via-Chandol. It is 8 kms away from the Kendrapara Town.
3. Functions & Duties:
This institution having two faculties i.e +2 Arts & +2 Commerce, which is affiliated to CHSE, Odisha. Both the faculties have 18 Nos. teaching and non-teaching staff who have been striving hard to bring about all round development of the institution. The key to the success of our students is:
i) Good relationship between the teachers and the students.ii) The noble teaching process.iii) Exposure of students to books and journals.iv) Up-to-date authentic guidance.v) To maintain a healthy atmosphere of the College.
4. Working Hours both for Office & Public:
The Normal working hours of the College is 10.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M
