Aim and Objective of the Organization:
The aim of the organization is to stablise the population, at a consistent level and also to reduce birthrate, IMR etc.This'organization is not merely intended for population stalisation but it has much larger perspective with a holistic approach towards Reproductive and Child, health services (RCH). Family planning, Immunisation, MCH, and training are comprising a comprehensive- health care padaeages .These activities are guided pertha policies, guidelines and funding by Govt. of India.
Mission/Vision:Under this organization, IMR Mission has. Launched by.Govt. W. e-f. I5th Aug.2001 to reduce infant deaths. Accordingly the strategies have been taken to reduce IMR.
Brief History and Background for its Establishment:The Family planning programme was implemented in Odisha in 1956, where as India was. The first country to launch family planning programme in1952.
