1. History & Background of Its Establishment :
The Soil Conservation Sub- Division, Chatrapur comprising of eight revenue Blocks, Chatrapur, Khalikote, Beguniapada, K.S. Naga, Purusottampur, Polosara and Hinjilicut with the head quarter at Chatrapur, The Asst. Soil Conservation officer is the head of the Soil Conservation Sub -Division, Chatrapur, is supported with one Juniour Engineer, one Juniour Soil Conservation Officer, two Soil Conservation Asst., one Soil Conservation Technical Asst.
Under the control of A.S.C.O. There are Three Nos. of Soil Conservation Range officers in Four Ranges I.e in Chatrapur, Khalikote, Kodala and K.S. Nagar. The organization set up of the Soil Conservation Sub- Division, Chatrapur is given below.
